This page covers the free production audit, fix sprints, and the Watch and Crew plans. Requesting an audit, approving a sprint, or starting a plan means you accept these terms.
1. What Ground Crew is
Ground Crew is a production audit and maintenance service for apps and websites built with AI tools. Ground Crew is a service of PricePilot LLC: that is the company you are contracting with, and PricePilot LLC is the legal entity behind invoices and payments for Ground Crew work (your card statement for Ground Crew charges reads GROUND CREW). Ground Crew is not your hosting company, your security department, or your insurer. The audit is a point in time review of the things on the published checklist, and the plan is ongoing checks and small maintenance under the same scope. Neither is a guarantee that your app is secure or that nothing will break.
2. The audit
- Audit access is read only. Ground Crew reviews your public app and a test account you provide or approve, and changes nothing in your app, your settings, or your data during an audit.
- Every finding in the report is reproduced by hand before it is included, and each one ships with reproduction steps and a verification test.
- The report reflects the day it was written. Your app changes, platforms change, and a clean report is not a promise about next month.
- If the honest finding is that your app needs a rebuild rather than fixes, the report says so, and no sprint is sold on top of it.
3. Access you grant, and how it ends
- Deeper checks and fix work may need access to your code repository, hosting, database, or payment dashboards. Access is granted by you, in writing, at the lowest level that allows the work (read only where read only is enough), and it is used only for the work you approved.
- Ground Crew never wants your passwords. Access should be granted through each platform's own sharing or collaborator features. If you send a password or a secret key anyway, Ground Crew will ask you to rotate it and will not store it.
- When the work ends, you revoke the access and Ground Crew confirms in writing that it has been removed and that working copies of your data, if any were needed for testing, have been deleted. Reports are kept by Ground Crew for its own records; your production data is not retained.
- During an engagement Ground Crew may see your customers' data incidentally (for example, while reproducing a data access finding). It is treated as confidential, it is never copied out of your system beyond what reproducing the finding requires, and it is never used for anything except your engagement.
4. Fix sprints
- Sprint scope and price are quoted in writing before work starts. The price quoted is the price you pay for that scope.
- Fixes ship as pull requests you review and merge, or, only with your written permission, Ground Crew merges and deploys for you with a rollback plan written down before the deploy.
- Every fix is re-verified against the finding's original reproduction steps before it is called done. A fixed finding that comes back within 30 days is refixed at no charge.
- Ground Crew will not deploy to your production app on a day you name as off limits, and will not make changes outside the written scope without fresh approval.
5. The plan, and pre-authorized fixes
- The plan includes a monthly health card, a backup restore test performed monthly, monitoring read by a person, same business day triage, small fixes under rules you set in advance, and a dated trust summary while you are subscribed.
- Pre-authorized rules can cover routine small fixes. Three categories always need your fresh approval, no matter what rules you set: anything that changes billing or payment handling, anything that changes who can access data, and anything that deletes data.
- Triage means Ground Crew looks, diagnoses, and either fixes under your rules or tells you what it found and what it recommends, within the same business day. The plan is not a 24 hour support desk, and it does not promise your app will never go down.
- The plan is month to month. Cancel anytime; monitoring and the trust summary stop at the end of the paid month.
6. If Ground Crew finds something already wrong
If, during any work, Ground Crew finds evidence that your app is already compromised or that your customers' data is exposed beyond a test finding (for example, signs of an active intrusion or data already taken), Ground Crew will tell you the same business day, in writing, with what was seen and when. What you do with your customers and your regulators is your decision and your responsibility; Ground Crew will not contact them, and will not sit on the finding either.
7. Your responsibilities
- You own your app, your data, your backups, and your relationship with your customers. Ground Crew's restore test checks whether a restore works; keeping backups in place stays with you and your providers.
- You are responsible for the decisions you make with a report, including the decision to fix later or not at all. A finding that is reported and not fixed is a risk you have accepted knowingly.
- You confirm you have the right to grant access to the app and the data reviewed in it.
8. Liability
- Ground Crew is responsible for the work it performs: a fix that Ground Crew ships will be reworked or the sprint fee for that fix refunded if it does not do what the scope said.
- Ground Crew is not liable for pre-existing problems in your app (including the findings themselves), for outages or losses caused by your platforms or providers, or for indirect losses such as lost revenue. Total liability for any engagement is limited to the fees you paid Ground Crew for that engagement (for the plan, the fees paid in the month the issue arose).
- Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Fees and payment
- The audit is free. Sprints are paid as quoted, before or on delivery as the written quote states. The plan is $99 per month until cancelled. Fees already paid for work already delivered are not refundable except under section 8.
10. Changes to these terms
- The version of these terms in place when you request an audit, approve a sprint, or start a plan month is the version that governs that work. Material changes are announced on this page before they take effect for new work.
Questions about these terms: use the audit form or reply to any Ground Crew email.
